Structural design for the renovation of the former fruit and vegetable market in Via Volturno for the realization of the nursery at the service of the new headquarters of the Friuli Venezia-Giulia District in Udine.
The complex consists of two equal and symmetrical buildings both composed of a basement and two floors above the ground. The renovation includes the rehabilitation of all the brick masonry and reinforced concrete, and the reinforcement of the floors and roof decking wood. Moreover, it was realized a new underground pedestrian tunnel in order to connect the two buildings.
